The Hajj Committee at Dubai Airports has announced that it has finalised preparations to ensure a smooth and seamless airport experience for customers who will be travelling for the Islamic pilgrimage of Hajj to Saudi Arabia in the coming days and weeks.
The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) organized a business meeting with the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia in the UAE and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), in the presence of a group of elite businessmen and tourism sector representatives. The meeting was held due to the visit of an economic delegation from North Macedonia to the Emirate of Sharjah, during which SCCI highlighted the emirate’s tourism attractiveness and promoted its distinct place on the safe global tourism map.
His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court and Chairman of Etihad Rail, visited the final package of Stage Two of the UAE National Rail Network, which extends for 145 kilometres from Sharjah to Fujairah Port and Ras Al Khaimah, to review the progress of rail construction works in these emirates.
The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, represented by the Department of Planning and Development - Trakhees, has signed an agreement with Dubai Insurance Company, one of the leading insurance companies in the UAE, to launch a “Workers Protection Program” for employees working in companies based in the special development zones. The program provides better protection and higher benefits compared to what was available under the previous bank guarantee system.
The Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah), an affiliate of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), has strengthened ties with potential investors and businesses from across Hungary and members of the Hungarian and Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry in a bid to expand commercial, industrial and investment cooperation in several high-priority sectors during a networking event hosted in Budapest.
