Introducing the all-new INFINITI QX50 the five-star luxury resort Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara hosted a VIP presentation along with the very first opportunity to test drive this new model in the Middle East.
The all-new INFINITI QX50 pairs INFINITI’s signature ‘Powerful Elegance’ design philosophy with the company’s innovative VC-Turbo engine, the world’s first variable compression ratio engine in production. Attended by more than 50 journalists, influencers and VIP guests, the launch activities highlighted the driving characteristics, the technology and the intriguing design of the INFINITI QX50.
Given the resort’s unique location in the heart of Salalah city centre and an abundance of cultural treasures, Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara was the ideal location to present the ultra-luxury INFINITI QX50. Guarded by indigo mountains and trimmed by the opal blue waters of the Arabian Sea, the resort has been designed with the simple grandeur of the region’s iconic coastal fortresses in mind
The event was held at the resort’s grand ballroom where guests were presented with a complete set of information about the vehicle before heading to their test-drives in Wadi Darbat, a stunning valley on the Eastern side of Salalah. A must visit place all year long, Wadi Darbat is the most beautiful and scenic spot for the mountain lovers, during Khareef Season that takes place from June to September.
Upon returning to the resort, all guests were invited to a dinner at the private dining room at Mekong, the resort’s signature restaurant, taking them on a voyage along South East Asian cuisine. Headed by speciality chefs, the seductively beautiful restaurant presents the flavourful cuisines of China, Thailand and Vietnam, all served against an opulent and ornate backdrop.
In light of hosting the event, James Hewitson, General Manager of Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara, said: “We are very pleased to be part of this grand launch and we enjoyed the excellent cooperation with INFINITI . We are proud to be located in Southern Oman, Salalah, and aim to bring new levels of refinement to this historically rich and cultural destination.
